Kyneton Transition Hub (KTH) is presenting Open Edible Gardens 2025 on Sunday16 March and Saturday 22 March.
We want you to feel empowered to grow food in your garden no matter what size garden you might have. Growing a few herbs in a pot or having a garden in a wicking bed or creating a whole new vegetable garden can be really satisfying and a practical way of improving your health and saving on food kilometres.
There are 2 small and two medium sized gardens open to the public for this event. The gardeners will be there to talk about their method of gardening, how and what they do to improve the soil, composting, wicking beds, planting, seed saving and more. Please ask them questions.
All visitors must register with the Macedon Ranges Shire Council on their website to receive the addresses of each garden at: Open Edible Gardens – Kyneton Transition Hub – Macedon Ranges Shire Council. Or call 0419 906 898
