We have a great opportunity coming up for you to get potato bins to turn into wicking beds, just as we’ve done at the Kyneton Community Garden and Kyneton Community & Learning Centre.

The bins are 1.2 m square and about 70cm high. If you want more info about wicking beds and how to make them check out ABC Gardening  or our website.

We have found a source for these bins, and will be having them delivered to Kyneton on Saturday 5th July. You can choose to pick them up from the Kyneton Showgrounds, or have them delivered.

The costs are $40 each for pick up, $45 each for delivery in Kyneton, and delivery outside of Kyneton may be negotiated.

This is an initiative of the Kyneton Transition Hub but is being done as a fundraiser for the Kyneton Agricultural Show. The Show committee will be providing the venue as well as the handling and delivery.
